Functional Patterns® Practitioner · Human Foundations I XXXX
Jordyn has nearly a decade of experience as a trainer and movement practitioner, helping clients build stronger, more resilient bodies.
Her work is now rooted in the Functional Patterns methodology, where she focuses on improving posture, restoring movement, and developing strength that carries beyond the gym.
“Awareness
is the first step —
don’t judge it, just notice it”
A SHIFT IN PERSPECTIVE
Jordyn didn’t grow up feeling naturally athletic.
Movement often felt unpredictable, leading to injuries and a belief that her body simply wasn’t built for it.
That began to change in college when she started working with a personal trainer and experienced what it felt like to push her body without breaking down.
She went on to pursue strength through modalities like Muay Thai and bodybuilding, building resilience, power, and confidence.
“Valuing yourself isn’t about confidence — it’s about standards.”
WHAT WAS MISSING
As she began working with clients, a pattern became clear.
Most people came in with chronic pain or recurring injuries — despite having tried physical therapy, chiropractic care, and other conventional approaches.
While these methods often helped temporarily, the results didn’t last.
She expanded her approach into areas like injury recovery, nutrition, and the mind-body connection — but the results still weren’t consistently lasting.
THE TURNING POINT
Finding the Functional Patterns methodology changed everything.
It provided a framework to address not just symptoms, but the underlying mechanical dysfunctions that drive pain.
Instead of avoiding stress, the focus became building a body capable of handling it.
