meet Krystyna Kolodziej
Functional Patterns® Practitioner · HBS Level I · M.S. Biomedical Sciences · Functional Medicine
Krystyna holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a background in graduate-level exercise science teaching and health coaching within functional medicine.
Her work has always centered on understanding how the body functions—exploring the relationship between structure, movement, and internal physiology.
“Training the body as an integrated system means respecting the first principles of gait in every movement.”
From Chronic Pain to Clarity
Her path into training was personal.
After years of endurance sports and high-demand activities like parkour, rock climbing, and mountain sports, Krystyna developed chronic pain and persistent dysfunction.
Despite trying multiple approaches, nothing addressed the root cause.
That search ultimately led her to the Functional Patterns methodology.
For the first time, the why behind movement aligned with the results she experienced in her own body.
“My body couldn’t distribute force properly—now I’m learning to move as an integrated system.”
A Biomechanics-Based Approach
Through Functional Patterns, Krystyna focuses on correcting the underlying mechanical issues that drive pain—not just managing symptoms.
Her work helps clients:
Improve postural alignment
Restore efficient movement patterns
Build strength that supports long-term function
Develop awareness and control of their body
Beyond Movement: Internal Health
In addition to biomechanics training, Krystyna supports clients in understanding how internal health impacts performance and recovery.
Drawing from her background in functional medicine and experience working with lab panels and metabolic markers, she helps connect:
Movement & structure
Nutrition & recovery
Hormonal and metabolic patterns
This provides deeper insight into energy, pain, and adaptation—creating a more complete and sustainable path forward.
An Integrated Perspective
Krystyna’s approach bridges science and application—helping clients build bodies that are more resilient, adaptable, and capable of handling the demands placed on them.
“xx”
Clients looking to understand the root cause of pain, improve movement efficiency, and align internal health with physical performance can work with Krystyna through private sessions and structured training.
Structure dictates function.
Training should reflect that.
