A Background in Martial Arts
Erick began training martial arts over 12 years ago, starting with Muay Thai and transitioning into Brazilian jiu-jitsu, where he earned his black belt.
Training in high-level environments exposed him to the demands of performance, precision, and consistency. These experiences continue to influence how he approaches coaching and physical development.

Building a System
Before coaching, Erick spent years working in kitchens. That environment reinforced the importance of preparation, structure, and attention to detail—principles that directly translate to training.
Just like in cooking, how you position, sequence, and apply each element matters. He brings that same mindset into how he builds and applies training for clients.
Applying Functional Patterns
Erick began training the Functional Patterns methodology in 2020, which reshaped how he approaches movement and strength.
At Kinetic Blueprint, his work focuses on building movement patterns that hold up under demand—helping clients develop strength, improve coordination, and move with greater efficiency.
